" I've used Auto Europe many times and will continue to do so. Everything is easy and fast with Auto Europe. It is easy to find cars to rent, customer service is great etc. I don't even feel like comparing prices, I will just settle in using Auto Europe. "
" Generally I've always thought Europcar to be a quality renter. This time the experience was not good. On the pickup everything worked fine but the the service was quite unfriendly with silent stares and grunts. Nobody will show you the damages on the car, but the damage report will be sent to an email address. On my occasion, they added extra letters to my email address for an unknown reason and I never received the email. I had to call the Europcar customer service (which was very nice and highly professional but then again perhaps the customer service was not in Malta...). In the end I ended up waiting half a week for the damage report - quite unprofessional. In general my emails were responded very slowly. When returning the car, the employee will scrutinize the car to find damages. I was shown a mark on the car that I was told would cost me 150 EUR. When I showed that this was dirt, I was told that if I can remove this then the matter would be other, as well as the employee is not paid to clean the car so I need to do it myself. I removed the dirt and the cost dropped to 75 EUR because then new damage will be found, which was also what the employee said that he will just find a new damage. We settled to 50 EUR but the general feeling was that Europcar has given the task that a damage has to found for extra revenue. In totality, expect for the friendly and professional customer service in the call center, you do get a feeling that you are there to serve Europcar. No greetings, no smiles, no human warmth given at any point. This is ok and life will go on, but I do tend to appreciate service providers who treat a customer well and will thus from now on take my money to other car renters. "
